Hungarian Hydrogen & CO2 Market Survey Led by FGSZ

August 25, 2025 — FGSZ, the Hungarian gas transmission system operator, and partner of the SEEHyC initiative, is currently conducting a “National market survey on hydrogen and carbon-dioxide transmission capacity for EU interconnection points, as well as for Hungarian hydrogen production and consumption points and for carbon-dioxide emission and storage points”. It targets stakeholders across energy, transport, and industrial sectors, aiming to support strategic planning and infrastructure development. Stakeholders are invited to submit their project information until September 1, 2025.

The submitted market demand indications as well as the transit expectations are important cornerstones for the planning of the future infrastructure development of FGSZ.
